A family tradition started by George Michael Byrne who came to England in 1946 from his home town Dublin (Ireland) and who went on to become a master builder and well respected businessman.

The family tradition is into its third generation and the works carried out are more specialised in and around Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.  Over the past forty years the tradition is not only new builds, major structural repair and support works but also specialising in barn and mill conversions.

The work carried out often includes structural support systems and large amounts of earth moving which is where the Byrne Family's previous knowledge is an advantage, not only on the structural side but also being qualified and able to operate the machinery - sometimes in very confined spaces; all scaffolding and support beam work is also carried out by the Byrne family.

The knowledge in design, structural engineering and what specialised equipment is needed and where to source it and having other trades that have worked with us for many years to the same high standards, knowing the best materials for the job and where to get them to finally cleaning each building to exacting standards before handing over to the client, is all part of the experience and dedication given by the Byrne family to turn a building into a home.
