Once a humble red brick cottage nestled in rural Newent, Gloucestershire - this cottage has undergone a subtle extension to the one side and a virtual new build to the other.
But it still looks as happy and comfortable as it always did.
Considerable skill was required to harmonise all the different levels involved both internally and externally. The original kitchen and ground floor bathroom are now an impressive atrium with traditional staircase and mezzanine landing.
Where there was once a hill side there is now a basement apartment with two floors above. Phase three of the project is soon to commence with a large garden room to the front of the basement apartment.
